Hi,
I'm trying to resolve a problem concerning Mac computers and logging in to on-premise Power BI ssrs server. Both the server and the Macs are linked to windows domain and the server is configured for Kerberos authentication:
<Authentication>
<AuthenticationTypes>
<RSWindowsNegotiate/>
</AuthenticationTypes>
<RSWindowsExtendedProtectionLevel>Off</RSWindowsExtendedProtectionLevel>
<RSWindowsExtendedProtectionScenario>Proxy</RSWindowsExtendedProtectionScenario>
<EnableAuthPersistence>true</EnableAuthPersistence>
</Authentication>
...
<Authentication>
<Extension Name="Windows" Type="Microsoft.ReportingServices.Authentication.WindowsAuthentication, Microsoft.ReportingServices.Authorization"/>
</Authentication>
Server is non clustered and the service is running with a domain user that's added to Administrator LocalGroup.
Server is configured to accept only https from other locations that localhost.
In Safari browsers the pages is just blank. In Chrome for Mac, it shows a 401 error.
I'm not getting any log information in either Report Server log files nor in Event log.
What can I focus on next? Really need to solve this..
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Sören
@sorenhakola , did you ever figure out a solution to your issues? We're encountering sporadic issues with Mac users at our organization, and I've also been looking at the RS config settings. I'm curious what you implemented.
