Good Morning,
We are running powerbi local report server in combination with SSAS, SQL and Oracle. In the background, we have a complicated date pipeline that uses Airflow for orchastration. The data pipeline breaks on a regular bases (not all in our control) so we only want to update the dataset after all stages have completed successfully.
Can we trigger a dataset refresh from either Powershell ReportingServicesTools or the rest API? The reports used import instead of liveconnect or direct query. Any ideas would be greatly apprecieated.
Thank you,
You could use the technique I posted here https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/Refresh-Power-BI-using-company-scheduler/m-p/987057#M... to trigger a refresh using a POST to the REST API
