Just transitioned from service to report server, need some questions answered

Hi, 

I've moved from using the latest  version of desktop to now needing to use report server version of powerbi. 

It feels like i've regressed in terms of features. Not having preview freatures is a huge loss, and the same is loosing features like dynamic values. 

Is there a roadmap of features that are going to be added? Will it be possible to add things like dynamic values to report server?

Also are there any stability issues with the latest version of report? I would think that with it's release schedule that there wouldn't be any stability issues but just wanted to get some feedback as to that.

There is no separate roadmap for Report Server. It just tends to get features that make sense in an on-prem environment once they have gone GA

There is this one Re: Issue: Power BI RS May 2023 release - Child Pr... - Microsoft Fabric Community but there is a work around in that thread if you are hitting that issue.

Would you happen to know about features like, dynamic values? Or AI features like smart narrative?

Dynamic values is one that I will be sad to loose due to its versatility.

I'm not aware of any feature called dynamic values. If you mean one of the preview features like "dynamic format strings" or "field parameters" - then as mentioned earlier, you just need to wait until they go GA to see if they get added to Report Server.

Most AI feature use AI functionality from Azure so I would not expect to see them in the on-prem server.
