    Hi W3nd3ll ,

    Direct query works by linking directly to the data source to get the latest data. When the user clicks on the report, it sends the request to the data source to get the data, while when you are offline, you cannot access the report because you cannot get the latest data. This is by design. If you want users to be able to access the report at any time, you can use 1. data stored on the web, such as Azure SQL. 2. the connection method is switched to import, but with import, there is a lag in the data of the report.

Large file upload/download

You can upload files up to 2 GB in size, though by default this limit is set to 1 GB in the Report Server settings in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). These files are stored in the database just as they are for SharePoint, and no special configuration for the SQL Server catalog is required.
