Finally, I figured out how to sort the column group in the report.

Right click on the column group > Group Properties > Sort > Add the 'Sorting Column' > Select the sorting order A-Z,
This finally worked for me.

Thanks,

Hello @Anonymous ,
I have added the sort filed as you have mentioned but still the report is not sorting.

Here is the snippet of the sort field.

After running the report, I still didn't get this sorted A-Z.

Hi @pthapa ,

  1. On the design surface, select in the tablix data region to select it. The Grouping pane displays the row groups and column groups for the Tablix data region.

  2. In the Row Groups pane, right-click the group name, and then select Edit Group.

  3. In the Tablix Group dialog box, select Sort.

  4. For each sort expression, follow these steps:

    1. Select Add.

    2. Type or select an expression by which to sort the data.

    3. From the Order column drop-down list, choose the sort direction for each expression. A-Z sorts the expression in ascending order. Z-A sorts the expression in descending order.

  5. Select OK.
