We installed PBIRS May 2024 release in our new on-premises server.
One problem appear directly after the first client open the browser and put the web portal URL the browser auto sign in him with the windows user.
How we can disable this option so for any new access it will request login/password from the user.
Thanks for help.

Hi,lbendlin ,thanks for your concern about this issue.
Your answer is excellent!
And I would like to share some additional solutions below.
Hello,@Mehtout . I am glad to help you.
You can try to modify the authentication method in Report Server Configuration Manager to require a login account (either a login domain account or a SQL Server account) for users to log in to the local Rpoert Server server
It is important to note that you need to be careful with this operation, I recommend that you make a backup first to avoid losing important data, because these configurations are usually made when the server is created, and when you change the authentication logon method on a local server that has already been configured there may be problems that can lead to errors on the server.
Therefore I don't recommend you to modify the original server configuration directly if it is not necessary.
Here are the results of my tests:
1. Clear your browser cache
2. Clear all encrypted content and reconfigure Report Server Configuration Manager.
3. Pay attention to the on/off status of the server
4. Choose the appropriate service account (I chose Visual Service Account here)
5. Set the appropriate Web Service URL
6. Select the server database you need to modify, and modify the default server database credentials (highlights)
Choose the appropriate authentication method (I chose Integrated Security)
Select the appropriate credentials (I chose SQL Server Credentials) The account uses the default account SA for all databases
At this point, after successful configuration, you need to ensure that the browser cache has been cleared, restart the report server management tool to open the local server, this time the user then logged on to the local report server through the browser requires logging in to the local account, you need to enter the account password to verify that the report server can be accessed only after the passage of the report server, the realization of your needs!
login the report server( domain account )
Login Successful:
Note that if you do need to add this authentication method, it may fail during server configuration.
like this.
This situation means that even if your new configuration is successful, but the new configuration and the original configuration of the server may have a conflict, my solution to this situation is to delete the original server database, configure a new server, and I discussed with other members of the team concluded that deleting all the data on the original server is the most effective and simple way, so you need to carefully consider your needs, in a timely manner! Therefore, you need to consider your needs carefully and make data backup in time.
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
Carson Jian,
