Hi,
I’m looking for guidance on how to disable or restrict access to the following API endpoints in Power BI Report Server:
https://myserverurl/reports/api/v2.0/SystemResource
https://myserverurl/reports/api/v2.0/telemetry
I don’t want the solution to involve using a firewall.
Is there a way to close or block these APIs for security or compliance reasons? Any configuration settings or best practices would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi @ArwaAldoud,
I'm not aware of any settings in report server itself to turn off specific endpoints of the API. The system depends on the API internally so even if it could be turned off, that would likely break the report server.
THe only way to do this is to do it at the network layer with a firewall or reverse proxy.

Hi @tayloramy
Thank you for following up.
I’ve reviewed the responses shared, and it seems that disabling those specific API endpoints isn’t supported directly in Power BI Report Server.
