I am creating a dashboard which will be used by 100+ users.
Context: I have 10M rows with 30+ columns of data in Oracle / SQL DB. I need to filter them at the source (before loading into Power BI) to improve my dashboard performance.
Need: I have to filter them based on multiple conditions (Min 3 nos) which can be from either a single column or across multiple columns.
My users are not much familiar with Power BI and I need to simplify their filtering process. I am thinking of below two options. (Not sure about the Feasibility though)
1. Give them this as a filtering option in the Dashboard itslef. i.e., User can input / select the criteria from a dropdown list.
2. Use some buttons in the Power BI Dashboards to do this?
Request to kindly shed some light on this.
