I have created a basic report to test this scenario.
My report has a table called Employees and this table has a column named FirstName. I can successfully filter the report using url parameter e.g. filter=Employees/FirstName eq 'John'
This works fine.
The Employees table also has a column 'Last Name' and when I attempt to filter it using the same method, the report is failing to recognize the field. I am using the following syntax:
filter=Employees/Last_x0020_Name eq 'Smith'
I have tried this scenario on several reports and attached is how the filter appears in the report (unrecognized) . Does Power BI Report Server filtering not work with spaces in the fields?

It's working fine on my local test server (May 2022 release), but the filters pane does not look anything like yours. Do you know what version you are running? You can see this by clicking on the question mark in the top title bar and then choosing the "About Power BI Report Server" option.

I upgraded my instance to the May 2022 and its working fine for me as well. Thanks!
