I have this error when I try to save in Power BI: Unable to open the package because the FileMode or FileAccess value is not valid for the flow.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please share me more details to help troubleshooting:

1. Are you using the normal Power BI Desktop for Power BI Service, or the one optimized for Power BI Report Server?

2. Which version of Power BI Desktop are you using? Have you tried the latest version: 2.102.683.0 (February 2022) or 2.100.1381.0(Optimized for Power BI Report Server - January 2022)?

3. When did this issue start appearing?

4. Do all files or only specific files have this issue?

5. Is there also the same issue saving the same file on other devices?

Best Regards,

Icey

Have you tried saving the file somewhere else like in your "Documents" folder. Often the root of C: drive is locked down so that only admins can create new files or folders.
