Enterprise gateway refreshing R script

All -

 

We see that R script data can be refreshed using a personal gateway and from a previous post in 7/17, it is not possible to refresh R script data using on-prem gateway;  is that still the case a year later?  You cannot refresh R script data using an on-premise gateway?
