Please let me know if Report Builder supports REST API?

If you are talking about Power BI Report Builder then no. See the supported data sources here:

If you are talking about the Report Builder for on-prem Reporting Services / Power BI Report Server then it may work if your REST endpoint can return XML (as far as I am aware there is no JSON support)
