Direct Query RLS

Hi all,

Using PBID for Report Server.

I have 3 Tables coming from SQL Server on DirectQuery.

How can I add Tables need to setup RLS based on this article from Reze Rad?

https://radacad.com/what-do-you-need-to-implement-dynamic-row-level-security-in-power-bi

I tried importing from Excel, I tried entering manually.

Either way, I receive an error message to switch everything to Import Mode.

Thanks,

-w

Report Server does not support composite models so either all your tables need to be imported or they all need to be in direct query mode. So if you want to use direct query mode your table for RLS needs to be in SQL Server also.
