I have created a PBI report in the desktop version using excel files from OneDrive and dataset from Azure. In the desktop version all works well, but when I publish it I get an error. The "File" hyperlink just sends me back to the main page. And according to my IT team, there's no Gateway for Azure report.
I have tried to publish a report with just excel files from OD or just some tables and measures from Azure - it works. But when I publish the combination of these two, the visuals don't work.
I have checked other threads here but nothing seems to help.

Hi @Anonymous ,
you need to check your dataset setting, maybe a permission is missing :)! And I would shift this topic into the Power BI Desktop instead of Report Server because you are in the Cloud ;).
Best,
Kathrin

Hi Kathrin,
Do you know how I can check if permission is missing?
Best,
D
Hi @Anonymous ,
sure click on the 3 dots beside the Dataset and choose settings.
After this choose "Datasource credentials"
Best,
Kathrin
