Custom Visualisation for Report Server - recommendations

G'day, 

We have a number of users who have been using the full desktop version of PowerBI however we are now running a Report Server and need to "downgrade" to the Report Server optimised version.

Most of the users' reports utilise the "Attribute Slicer" and "Timeline" visualisations (both from microsoft) however they are not supported in the Report Server Optimised Desktop (October 2017) client. Note that when I upload reports that say they are not supported, the visualisations seem to work fine!

Have any other users encountered this? Is there a workaround or can you recommend other visualisations that replace the Attribute Slicer and Timeline that *are* suppprted by the Report Server Optimised Desktop version?
