Hi,
So I am trying to enable users to be able to copy visualizations as an image in report server, we are using the 2021 sept version. From what I have read it should be possible since April 2020. However, I can't seem to find any setting that allows for doing this. So my question is: Is this option not available for pbi report server? Only pbi service?
If it's available in a later report server version, which one? So I can let me company know they need to uppgrade...
P.S of course I know you can just take a snippet of the screen, but we want it to be as easy as possible for the users 🙂
Thanks in advance for any help!
Why there is no answer from Microsoft? A basic functionality like this is ignored in PBI RS to promote the sales of PBI LICESNCE or so?
It is really annoying.
Regards
Michel
Hello.
Consindering that it seems not available a solution, would be appreciate also a suggestion to find different method (also external to PowerBi) to obtain the result.
My idea is to write a VBA code in PowerPoint to take a screen of the charts in PowerBi and than crop automatically the image as per different visual available in the view.
Someone can help me in finding the solution?
Hi,
I have the same question. We're using Power BI Report Server, September 2023 version and the 'copy visual as image' is not available. Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated.
