Hello everyone,
I have a short question - do you know anything about the possible root cause of the following issue:
the user has tried to delete the rights of the group. He got the following error: "the user or group name is not recognized"
after some analysis, it appeared to be that the group is deactivated in AD
Do you maybe know if there is some correlation between the deactived user and the their rights deletion?
Technology: Power BI Report Server
Thanks in advance for the answer!
hello @Greg_Deckler !
thanks for the advice!
maybe you know some official docu where those points might be mentioned?🙈
@mlog If the group is deactivated in AD then it should effectively be removed in terms of permissions. You would likely need to reactivate the AD group, delete the permissions and then deactivated the group again.
