Cannot Open PBI Report Using ReportServer URL

When I use the report server URL to open a report, I get error shown in the image below   I am doing this by opening the ReportServer URL then clicking on the parent folder, then clicking on the report.  All links work except for the actual report link.

This is sample of what the report URL looks like

http://PBIServerName/ReportServer?%2fReportFolderName%2fReportName

I would think I could open a report using the report server URL just like on a normal SSRS Reporterver.

Try using http://[servername]/reports.... instead of /reportserver...

Thank you , but that is not the issue.  The URL you gave is the URL for the UI.  It is the web server URL that does not work for opening any PBI report.  Traditional SSRS reports open just fine with the web server URL.  It is the PBI reports that do not open with the webserver URL.

The reportserver endpoint is a backward compat feature for supporting RDL reports. Now, the REST endpoint and PowerBI reports are all served from the same /reports (or however you configured it). You linke to a PowerBI report directly by path, or if you don't want to see the port UI around it set rsembed=true to the URL. For example: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/quickstart-embed
