Calculation of different totals dependant on "variable" content

I have a table with a column Amount and a column Product.

The product is a name and can vary through the months , it's got a lot of values.

I want to make a calculation the SUM of the Amount for every product seperately without

using the Product name explicitly in the DAX code.

I want to do this in the DirectQuery Mode , I am not familyar enought with the restrictions of this mode

Hi @DannyBolier,

You could refer to below formula to create a measure:

Measure =
CALCULATE ( SUM ( test[Amount] ), ALLEXCEPT ( test, test[Product] ) )
