CUSTOMDATA() function not working

Hi 

We have on-prem Report Server connected to SSAS Tabular Model (Connect Live)

We have used custom authentication (using GitHub)

For implementing RLS , we need to capture the login id of the user logged in , hence we used customdata function

I remember it was working earlier , but now it is not working..

eg: Create a measure ConnectedUser=CUSTOMDATA()  -- gives the userid who have logged into powerbi

Now it is giving blank

Pls suggest
