Hey all,
I have created .pbix files in June/July 2020 versions, but my organization is using Jan 2020 reporting server. I tried to download Jan 2020 version and opening those newer-version files through that, but it gives me an error saying that they are incompatible and cannot be opened.
Is there a way to convert these newer-version files into Jan 2020 version? Or will I have to redo all the work?
Thanks!

Unfortunately I think your only option is to re-build these reports in the Jan 2020 version.
Technically what you are asking for is "Forward Compatibility" - the ability for an older release to open a newer file format - and that is not possible. Newer versions of desktop can open files authored with older versions, but this does not work the other way around.
