Hi all, I am trying to load the data from a CSV file format. Issue is that date is in text format mm/dd/yyyy and when changing or transforming the data type to date in power query it is not recognising and showing error.

Hi @Ankit0111, I guess this error comes from Changed Type step. Try to edit that step by adding this:

Note: Check this link to learn how to use my query.
Check this link if you don't know how to provide sample data.

Hi @Ankit0111

you may try Date.FromText function in Power query. If it does not please share sample data and error content.

Hope it helps.
