Good evening experts
Recently I am working more constantly with power bi, really this is a world to learn and unfortunately I am alone in the place that I am, that is why I turn to you because I know that you have a lot of knowledge on this subject and surely you can guide me in the best way.
I explain
I have the queries in power query as seen in the image.
The trouble is that every time I have to do some modification it usually results in errors, these errors are usually due to the message: Unexpected error: The evaluation was canceled.
I have noticed that this is because errors occur in queries that depend on others, when those errors are corrected then the queries load correctly. The question is how can I make the queries load one by one respecting the hierarchy they have and not launch the update in all the queries? Or what method can I follow to optimize these dependencies, it is really frustrating and exhausting to have to go query by query performing the validation of each additional step and having to wait for the time it takes to refresh the data, which is currently in a OneDrive repository.

thanks again, any help will be appreciated
Hi @jcamilo1985 ,
Based on the error message, this problem may be caused by disabling the option "Allow data preview to download data in the background". Please check the settings in Power BI Desktop: select File > Options and settings > Options, and then select the Data Load page

That can be annoying, and you get used to letting a query preview refresh before you go to another one. It shouldn't affect when you close/load though. One thing that will help a lot will be to uncheck "Allow Background Refresh" in the query section of the settings. That will stop unwanted preview refreshes.

Pat
