Hi All,
Would appreciate some help here if possible as i'm very new to power BI.
Trying to write a query to pull data from the VMware Velocloud orchestrator, which uses REST API's.
The documentation is here: https://developer.vmware.com/apis/1532/
The main thing it uses is POST instead of GET, and requires an authorization key and a few parameters.
I've checked a few of the forum posts here which got me to the following query:
let
Json = Json.FromValue({params={enterpriseProxyId=0}}),
Source = Json.Document(Web.Contents("https://XXX.velocloud.net/portal/rest/enterpriseProxy/getEnterpriseProxyEnterprises", [Headers=[ContentType="application/json", Authorization="Token XXX"]]))
in
Source
Getting a "(404): Not Found" error.
Anyone able to check the above query and advise where i'm going wrong?
I know the Token and params are correct as i can poll this data successfully using postman and with my python scripts, but just can't do the same in power bi.
Thanks in advanced!
for a POST you need to provide a content payload (can be an empty string)
