Hi everyone,
I am building a dashboard to track certification. Each certificate has its own row and uniqe ID number. The comonality is the course the certificates are registered against has a common id so you can tell all the certs for a specific course. The problem I have is that you can have a valid and an expiring certificate for the training, but if there is a valid certificate I don't want it to count the expiring certificate ( which it is currently doing).
So the combo's I want it to understand is:
If the course has:
Expired, expiring and valid certificate - it shows the valid cert only
Expiring and valid- it shows the valid cert only
expired and valid - it shows the valid cert only
Valid - it shows as valid
expiring and expired - it counts the expiring cert only
Expiring - shows as expiring
Expired - shows as expired ( of course :))
Can anyone help me work this out..
TIA
Amy
Hi @Anonymous ,
Could you please share your sample data and excepted result to me if you don't have any Confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.
I'm sorry I can't uplod the data but perhaps I can explain a little more.
Each person does hazard management training every two years. each time they complete it a certificate is recorded it issues a certificate. so a person could end with 5 certificates if they ahve been here ten years. What I want the system to do is only show me the most recent certifcate and forget all the rest?
Each course and user has a unique idenitifier
Thanks
heaps
Amy
