Hi Help,

I was assigning a no in day of the year using the below formula but couldn't make it restart every year from 0 need help what do i need to add on top of this.

Noofbusinessday = VAR workingdates = CALCULATETABLE(VALUES(Date_Dim[Date]),REMOVEFILTERS(Date_Dim), Date_Dim[_IsWorkingDay]=TRUE)

Var Result = RANKX(workingdates, Date_Dim[Date], , ASC) - NOT (Date_Dim[_IsWorkingDay])
return Result

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please try:

Noofbusinessday =
VAR workingdates =
    CALCULATETABLE (
        VALUES ( Date_Dim[Date] ),
        REMOVEFILTERS ( Date_Dim ),
        Date_Dim[_IsWorkingDay] = TRUE()
        && 'Date_Dim'[Year] = EARLIER('Date_Dim'[Year])
    )
VAR Result =
    RANKX ( workingdates, Date_Dim[Date],, ASC ) - NOT ( Date_Dim[_IsWorkingDay] )
RETURN
    Result

I think you can skip the RANKX and do a simple count instead:

Noofbusinessday =
CALCULATE (
    COUNT ( Date_Dim[Date] ),
    REMOVEFILTERS ( Date_Dim ),
    Date_Dim[Date] <= EARLIER ( Date_Dim[Date] ),
    Date_Dim[Year]  = EARLIER ( Date_Dim[Year] ),
    Date_Dim[_IsWorkingDay]
) + 0
