data mismatch with google analytics

I am currently using the free version power BI to integrate with google analytics to get the tracking info.

I see a lot of decrepancy in the number of new users on the google analytics and what I see in power BI. Is this an issue with connector? Or is this an issue with my free version?

Hi @purnima13,

The connector in Power BI Desktop rely on the Google Analytics Core Reporting API. The API may change and Power BI desktop may not update correspondingly, which will result in the different data. See: Changes to the API.

In your scenario, please try to update the Power BI desktop to latest desktop version 2.47.4766.542. Also please call the Reporting API to see which results returned, for details, you can post a thread in google-analytics-api as suggested here.
