Hi,
I have an API that i am able to connect to via Postman with success. The API requires some parameters and I'm using the NTLM authentication in Postman which is the only option that works. Here isthe curl from postman:
Hi @scabral ,
Based on your description, implementing NTLM authentication in Power BI is really complicated because Power BI's Web.Contents function does not directly support NTLM authentication. If you need to implement NTLM authentication in power bi, you can create a custom connector to handle NTLM authentication. Or, you can try to use R or Python script to handle NTLM authentication.
library(httr)
url <- "https://prd-01-api-afmmrr/Api/Reports/RenewalActivities?userId=corp%5Ccabrals&targetCurrency=USD&exc..."
username <- "username"
password <- "password"
response <- GET(url, authenticate(username, password, type = "ntlm"))
content <- content(response, "text")
content
Run R scripts in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
authenticate function - RDocumentationauthenticate function - RDocumentation

Albert He
