connecting to an access database error

I am trying to do the Lab 1 exercise and keep getting the following when trying to connect to access. Microsoft Access: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLD.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. I have uninstalled office 365 twice and have downloaded the recommended Data Base engine, but nothing has worked.  Any help would be apppreciated.

Probably a dumb question, but have you confirmed Access is installed? I only ask because they removed it from the Business Premium licenses.

 

Better question, are you using 64-bit office? If so, there is a thread here that might help:
