can't get livechat transcripts into powerbi

I am able to get the chats on the first page but am trying to bulk load chats into powerbi using this https://developers.livechat.com/blog/how-to-get-livechat-api-data-with-microsoft-excel-or-power-bi/ 

 

The transcript query keeps coming up with this error: Expression. Error: We cannot apply operator & to types Text and Date.
Details:
Operator=&
Left=https://api.livechatinc.com/v2/chats?date_from=
Right=1/01/2018

    Hi Anonymous 

    Can you sahre the M code so that we can see where the issue is.

    Looking at the error message you get, you are attempting to concatenate one piece of text ( https://api.livechatinc.com/v2/chats?date_from=) with a date (1/01/2018). Both items in the concatenation should be of type text. So try converting the date type to text by for instance using Text.From( )
