Hi
I am having issues refreshing data from a macro enabled workbook. All data from the file is normally updated when scheduled, except the fields that are related to the macros in the workbook (ie all data is normally loaded, but calculated columns charge as if they were empty, these columns are automatically calculated by a macro on the xlsm file). I only works when i have the xlsm fiel opened while refreshing the report.
I have been working with the same files for a couple of weeks and didn’t have this issue before.
The way I am connecting to the source is: = Excel.Workbook(Web.Contents("https:.....),null, true)
thanks in advance
Have you Saved the file with the macro calculations before refreshing in Power Query?
Thanks for yoru answer.
Yes, I save the file every time I open it. In the excel file these fields are ok. however when refreshing these columns are refreshed as if they where empty.
I have occasionally had a similar issue running Power Query in Excel with the source being an Excel table, usually from the same workbook. I have no idea why it happens. For me, a work-around has been to close and then re-open the workbook containing the Query. But I can't actually reproduce the problem. So far, it seems to be a random occurrence.
