I installed and registered my on-premises data gateway. I added a SQL Server 2012 data source using the gateway on Power BI. I successfully connected to a database.
Now how do I add a dataset?
Under Get Data, I can add content packs from My Organization or Services. Or I can import or connect to data in the form of Files or Databases.
Under Databases, the only tile for SQL Server is to connect to an Analysis Services instance - which is a different kind of data source than SQL Server.
Where do I go to find my SQL Server data source and add datasets from it?

@pwdennis2 You need to use power bi desktop for that. So use power bi desktop to connect to your sql server database and publish report to power bi service. then configure data gateway to connect to that database.
