When trying to use the Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Social Engagement content pack an error occurs. See screenshots.
Hi @dharland
The problem with missing 'solutionName' column was fixed couple of weeks ago. Please try the latest Social Engagement content pack.
The problem is that for some MSE solutions the name is null for some reason. It could be mitigated by setting the name for your solution (in MSE Settings\Global Settings\Default Preferences). But it is not necessary anymore since the fixed content pack can handle missing solution name. However, I would suggest to name your solution anyway.
Best regards
Oleksandr
Hi @dharland,
1. Please ensure following things. For more information, see: Get the Microsoft Social Engagement content pack for Power BI.
- They are an admin in D365 Social Engagement.
- Make sure the user is entering the right social Id.
2.
-Open MSE application in a browser (using the same credentials as for Social Engagement report)
- In the same browser session open new tab and try to open this link:
https://listening-prod.dynamics.com/api/version/2.1/solutions/[CUSTOMER_SOLUTION]/initialdata
The expected result should be something like this:
{"@class":"InitialDataDTO","userName":"T09 Admin","userLogin":"41","solutionName":"Sol5dev","solutionId":5,.....
Check if "solutionName" is present.
3. Please share Solution ID if possible.

Any ideas????
Hi @dharland,
I have sent the email to consult this issue internally. If I get any information, will post back here.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
First, I assume I'm supposed to replace [CUSTOMER_SOLUTION] with my social ID?? When doing so, the data on the resulting page does NOT include solutionName.
Here is the beginning of the data displayed on the page using my ID
{"@class":"InitialDataDTO","userName":"Dave H","userLogin":"1","solutionId":51822,"maxDocId":23419,"searchItems":...
Social ID/solution ID = 51822.
Any ideas?
