Hi All,
I am shocked to see that Power Query is able to import Exchange mailbox access data when the data is imported to Excel. Why am i shocked is that the mailbox is a shared mailbox and the user who is trying to import is not even having permissions on the Exchange mailbox. So, not sure how Power query is able to import the data when there is no permissions delegated to the logged in user
Below are the steps i follow in Excel:
The fact is that, i myself am able to access mailbox data of which i do not have access to.
Are you sure you can see tge data other than those you have access?
I use the Exchange connector daily, and no one without permission to that mailbox has ever been able to refresh it. Are you saying that a person without permissions is able to refresh that query?

Below are the steps followed: 1. Open Excel, Get Data, From Other Sources, From Microsoft Exchange, add UPN of the mailbox, switch to Microsoft account for Authentication, Sign in, i see the data is loaded. The fact is, i myself am able to access a shared mailbox, that i do not have access to.
