Hi,
I have a Web Data Source Connector that retrieve data to power bi. However, everytime, the query will only be able to retrieve the data for the last 28 days based on current date. Is there any way in power bi that i could retain the historical data, something like appending of new data or storing of old data within power query.
Illustration as follows:
Date Data Extracted
6th Nov 9th Oct - 5th Nov
7th Nov 10th Oct - 6th Nov
8th Nov 11th Oct - 7th Nov
How can i keep the data for 9th Oct - 11th Oct if we are performing the schedule refresh every night? Currently, if we do run the schedule, the query will only contain of the current 28 days data but not the data before it, but we need to keep all the historical data.
Thanks.
Hello @Roy_tap
in Power BI desktop there is no standard function that allows you to do that automatically.
However you can use dataflows, Excel or other scripts to work around this issue
Here on link for other scripts
