We are unable to locate the file on OneDrive for Business.

I created my first reports from the website rather than from the desktop client.  Many reports connect to an Excel file in OneDrive that seems to have disappeared.  How the heck do I see the name of the file?  I'm afraid I'm going to have to rebuild the reports.

I put all the files back into one drive and the dataset came back.  It seems there is a delay between them (when I removed the files, the dataset was still refreshing without error, only after 15 minutes or so it started reporting that it could not find the file).  In any case, I ended up just building a new report in the desktop app.  The web app has very few configuration options... I can't seem to see which file a dataset is pointing to.  The desktop app is better.  Thanks.

@michaelccdf,

Do you mean that you are unable to view these reports in Power BI Service? If so, are you able to view the dataset you have created in Power BI Service? Have you accidentally deleted the reports in Service?

I would recommend you use Power BI Desktop to create the report and back up the PBIX file.

Lydia
