Unable to upload table (excel) from local computer or from OneDrive personal

Is this feature removed from PowerBI free?

Would consider upgrading to Pro but will have hard time convincing Admin officers if feature is not available.

 @Greg_Deckler Already 'frowned', actually I am in constant email exchange with Support regarding this matter.

@andre Noted but no this is not a linked table. The interresting thing is that being a free user we have no access to refresh (gateway) one way of 'solving' this was to upload updated files. It worked fine till last update then we have since been unable to upload anything. Thanks for your suggestion though.

Solved with latest iteration of Power BI Desktop.

if you have a Linked table from an Excel worksheet it will not work, you need to connect your model to the Excel document directly and not use Linked table feature.
