Hi,

When I try to connect GitHub private repository with Power BI it's gives the result as below.

It's not converting to Joson response/ table.

But I can generate by using sale link in postman to download JSON format.

The API is returning a 1
Isn't that the expected reult? The number of contributers to the repo?

Hi,

Yes. API is returning result as 1. this is not the expected result. there are around 10 columns of information with many rows.

Hi @LDevi2017 ,

Please try:

let
   source = "......"
in
   source

Please check what this returns, if source does not return a binary file then there is a problem with your URL.

Best Regards,
Dino Tao

Hi Dino Tao,

The same URL is working to download JSON file from postman and also when I used as above mentioned

let
   source = "URL"
in
   #"source"

result given as URL which we given as source.

I used the below code, but result is blank

let

    apiUrl = "my_api_url",

    token="my_api_key",

    options = [Headers=[#"Authorization"="Bearer " & token ]],

    result = Json.Document(Web.Contents(apiUrl , options))

in

    #"result"

what would be the reason for the blank result.

Thanks,

Lakshmi
