AR Daily Aging Matrix

Hello,

I have a daily AR Report coming into PowerBI that has a seperate column for each aging bucket.  (See below)

I'm trying to setup a Matrix where the Rows are Company > Aging Buckets and the Columns are each day so you can see the trend as the balance moves.  Here is an example in Excel:

If I add the Aging Buckets to the Rows in the Matrix, it just has the totals

Thanks for your help

Switching the date display in a matrix visual is a common task in Power BI. The message you've provided is a good start, but it can be improved for clarity and conciseness. Here are a few improved versions, from a simple, direct fix to a more detailed explanation.

Version 1: Simple & Direct

To change the date display, go to the Visualizations pane.
Click the arrow next to your date field and select the standard date field instead of the "Date hierarchy."

Thanks, I got it to work by switching that.  But the columns for Day are formatted just as a number, do you know how I can get to show September 1, 2025, August 30, 2025, etc. and in order?

Hi @DJKole

The issue is not realted to bucket, but it is because you added the total(the value in $) in the rows instead of values (in your matrix visual)
