I have a power query looking at a DB and I'm using the timed refresh option to update my spread sheet. This option seems to create a new caches folder everyocurance. Eventually filling up the hard drive but this does not happen when the data refresh is manually triggered.
I've attempted creating a PowerShell routine to delete these folders but it would seem the folders are in a restricted system program space and the task will not execute. Only way to get rid of the junk files is to manually delete them.
what can I do to prevent the caches folder from filling up?
thanks
Do you see SQL queries hitting your database twice? Are some of the queries marked as cancelled?
