Dear Forum,
I am freshman in powerbi, please help to implement one slicer to jump between 2 databases.
So I imported 2 different folders. These folders contain similar files, about my test results.
Now I am able to print all the test-restuls.
But I want to have a some button which would let me to select which folder/database name to plot.
So I have 2 folders: ams and uvm:
how I can implement slicer to switch between uvm and ams databases?
Thanks
Hayk
Hi Hayk,
The optimal thing to do would be to add a custom column to each query called 'Source'. In the ams query, the value of this column will just be = "ams". In the uvm query it will be = "uvm".
Append the two queries together in Power Query and disable load for both ams and uvm, but allow the new appended query to load.
In the Data Model, add a slicer that uses the appendedQuery[Source] field to switch between.
Pete
