Hi All,
Recently, we integrated a PowerBI report hosted in PowerBI services with a SharePoint online modern page.
We enabled first release option for selected user in O365 with other settings, but it didn't activate the PowerBI web part in the modern page.
After few days, we can see the Power BI web part in the SharePoint modern page. It is activated.
Although we did't change the setting of first release option for selected user in O365.
My question, is Power BI web part only work with first release for everyone or with first release for selected users or both?
This article shows that it only work with first release for everyone, although for us it worked with first release for selected users also.

Thanks!
The official document you mention is not explicit. The following statement are extracted from this blog, in other words, either the tenant admin opted-in for First Release nor the user is select for First Release is able to use web part.
You’ll see the web part if your Office 365 tenant administrator opted-in to the First Release program. If they didn’t or you’re not one of the users selected to receive First Release updates, then the web part will not appear in the list of web parts available to you.

Please look into "known issues and limitation section" of the article which describes how to resolve "sign in" related issue for SharePoint and Power BI web part.
Link: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-embed-report-spo/
It describes "First release for everyone" must be selected to enable Single Sign On (SSO) which avoids the problem.
While enabling the Power BI web part of Sharepoint for other project we faced the problem as mentioned above.
Enabling "first release for everyone" solved it.
This scenario also contradicts the statement " the user is select for First Release is able to use web part", which is a first release for selected user option.
So which one is the correct option? Is it released to everyone as asked by @Anonymous?
Thanks!
@Anonymous
Any new information.
Thanks !
I thought this was released for everyone now?
@tridip,
I can reproduce your issue. I will consult this feature internally and post back once I get updates.
