Hi everyone,
After trying to understand what could be the issue here by myself for so long, I feel like I really need your help.
I have a file with 20 queries that I need to load into tables. Most of them are quite simple even though they connect to several databases that can be heavy. However, updating any single one of them takes only a few seconds which leads me to think they are not expensive for the CPU.
The issues comes in when I try to update a second (sometimes third) table / query. Doesn't matter which one of the query I update and in what order, this second one will take frmo 45min up to 1h15 to load, instead of a few seconds.
I can still use the computer to do some other stuff in the meantime so I had the oppurtinity to go beyong this point : once the very long query is done, all the next ones are only going to take a few seconds once again.
I'd really like to get past this hour-long wait, but I can't seem to find where the problem comes from. Anyone has an idea please ? 🙂
Thanks a lot !
Is this always happening or only after you changed the query (however slightly)?
Hi,
Sorry I didn't see your answer.
This happens everytime I use the file, with or whithout any change to the queries or the data (I tried reloading the queries with same data and it happens alos). I usually refresh it once a week, and see no improvement or deterioration. 😕
