Hi @Hector78

Could you please tell us what is your local directory UPN and the email address that you use to sign in Power BI? If the local directory UPN doesn't match that email address, you would need to configure a mapping rule to have local directory UPN passed to Analysis Services according to the instructions in the Map user names section of this article.

Thanks,
Lydia Zhang

Hi @Hector78,

Could you please translate the above error message to English?

If you get the error message like” Couldn't load the schema for the database model”, please check that if the email address that you sign into Power BI service matches the defined UPN within the local Active Directory Domain following the instructions in this article.

If your Power BI service login names do not match your local directory UPN, you can use the Map user names feature to create UPN mappings for Analysis Services Live connections that go through the on-premises gateway for Power BI.

Thanks,
Lydia Zhang

Hello Lydia.

Thank you for your response.

Actually the message i got is " Couldn't load the schema for the database model”.

The point is that we connect to an Internet Information Server (and here connect to SSAS with a fixed user).

I hope that you can help me.

Hi @Hector78,

Have you check that if the email address that you sign into Power BI service matches the defined UPN within the local Active Directory Domain?

Thanks,
Lydia Zhang

Yes I checked that.

Anyway the the user I thin that doesn´t matter because finally the user than connect to ssas is of the local domain.

Hi @Hector78

If the email address does not match a UPN within your local directory, the report will fail. What is the rsult after you check the UPN? I would also recommend you run SQL Server Profiler to capture more information.

Thanks,
Lydia Zhang

Hello Lydia.

I have used the profiler and the user that is used I think is correct (mts domain).

In the gateway test, the connections works, also I can connect with this user through Management Studio.
