Hi All
Relatively new to the Power BI space but quickly undergoing a vertical learning curve...
Have on premise data gateway connecting to my SQL Server. Have this configured under a Data Source within "Gateway Clusters" in my Power BI Service and have been able to target that data source from BI Desktop and create reports no problems.
Last night we made a change to the dataset in my SQL server that included the addition of several columns to some SQL tables in my database.
I have noticed that these additional fields are not available within my DataSet.
Any suggestions on how to force an update of this without having to remove existing connections and start again?
Thanks
Hi @ArtlessFugu ,
By my tests with the latest version of gateway, I could reproduce your issue.
I have reported this issue internally and will update here if I get anything new.
Currently, you may remove the dataset in Power BI Service and republish the report as a workaround.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Best Regards,
Cherry
It's more than a year later and this is still an issue.
