SAP odata incremental load concept

hi all, 

 

Looking for good ways to do incremental loads from a SAP based odata feed. Am already considering the option of using a datetime stamp but I was wondering if odata also better ways to do this, as it looks like it also is able to feed inserts/updates/deletes (CDC concept). 

 

Would anyone have any ideas/experience that you could share?
