Hello,
I recently imported Power Pivot data from Excel into Power BI Desktop by using the Import -> Excel workbook contents function. After adding some columns to the Power Pivot, I tried to do data refresh in PBI Desktop. But I get an error message that says:
Microsoft SQL: Could not find stored procedure 'Wrap_P_[my company alias]_33788960
My Edit Permissions is already set to Windows. How do I resolve this issue and be able to refresh?
Thanks,
KC
@a-kachua,
I am unable to reproduce this issue on my side. How do you connect to SQL Server in Excel, using SQL query or directly importing SQL table?
Based on my test, after connecting to SQL in Excel and import Excel workbook to Power BI Desktop, you would need to re-import the workbook if you add calculated columns to the Power Pivot model. Do you add columns in SQL Server database and refresh the Excel file? Why not directly connect to SQL Server database in Power BI Desktop?
Regards,
Lydia
