Refresh Failed- Direct Query to Import

I cannot schedule a refresh to one of my datasets that is connected directly to SQL. I am receiving the following error message:

"Settings are not avilable for datasets that did not come from a file."

I changed the connection settings from direct query to import, yet it still will not allow me to schedule refreshes. Any thoughts?
