I need to convert a varchar col to decimal, but I can't do that with the cast function as I usually do, any advice please? Thanks !

Thanks a lot for your reply !
I was able to fix my issue by using the following statement in the "Source" :
to_number(myColumn,'9999999999D99') and this vonverted my varchar col to decimal.
I hope this will help others.
Thanks again !

Hi @Betty888 ,
In Power Query you can either just change the data type of the VarChar column, or use Number. From([VarCharColumn]), assuming that every VarChar value can be converted to a number, of course.
