RLS for BW

Will Row-level security(RLS) work for SAP BW connections? Can these reports be published and refreshed using the Enterprise gateway?

Hi @fapel,

 

It's able to use the RLS feature for the SAP BW data source. See: Limitations

 

"Only ETL, and DirectQuery connections are supported. Live connections to Analysis Services are handled in the on-premises model."

 

We can also configure the SAP BW to use on-premise data gateway and set schedule refresh. See: List of available data source types.
